This month the 19th annual vacation show by Karen Franzen and Friends takes place.
Local artist Franzen is delighted to host the show again after being canceled last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Hand-made ceramics by Franzen will be shown; Art drawings and paintings by her husband Fred Franzen; Bev Winn knitted hats, scarves and gloves; and a few surprises from some of the other artists taking part in the show.
She finds Dr. 3, east of Coxwell Avenue. Show times are Friday, December 10th from 6pm to 9pm; and on Saturday (December 11th) and Sunday (December 12th) from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The show can also be visited from December 13th to 17th by prior appointment.
Trade fair visitors must wear a mask they have brought with them and present a vaccination card.
As always, entry to the show is free. Franzen also asked attendees to donate new socks, if they can, to help drive the Beach Hill Neighborhood Association’s Sock Drive for Michael Garron Hospital.
