Cheryl has admitted that she fell for the Atkins diet as a teenager when promoted by Jennifer Aniston, and she now has no interest in following the actresses exercise regimen.
The 37-year-old singer shared that the diet, which is about cutting out carbohydrates and eating as much protein and fat as you want, was the worst she has ever tried, while she also decided that Jennifer’s commitment to fitness isn’t for her.
Speaking to Marie Claire, Cheryl said, âThe Atkins Diet years ago when I was a teenager. I fell for it. It was Jennifer Aniston who told us all to do it. ‘

Cheryl was asked if she thinks that sometimes people think they should train like their favorite stars instead of figuring out what works for them.
She said, âYou know what, I absolutely agree. It doesn’t mean you love her less. I look at Jennifer Aniston[‘s diet and workout regime] and say thank you, but no thank you. Thanks for the advice, but this is not for me. I still love her. ‘
Jennifer previously told Women’s Health that she usually wakes up at 9 a.m. every day and exercises five times a week.
The Morning Show star is also a fan of intermittent fasting, a pattern of eating that alternates between fasting and eating phases.

Cheryl also spoke about her eating habits, saying she only eats when she is hungry and indulges in a take away meal once a week or two weeks.
The hit maker said she usually skips meat three or four days a week and is a fan of vegan food.

Cheryl believes that people need to change their attitudes towards food rather than thinking about “eating well” or “eating badly,” adding that people can be very hard on themselves.
She said, âI had this conversation with my sister-in-law last week. She keeps saying that her jeans no longer fit. I said, “OK, take the bigger size.” Your wardrobe doesn’t fit – we’ll accept that.
