Claus for a good cause
Bob and Judy Jung receive Claus for a Cause for the third time in their house, which they call the Faith House. The two-day event gets the community to see their decorations and lights, gives children an opportunity to meet Santa Claus and take photos, and raises money for a local organization.
“My husband Bob decorates the house and spends over 240 hours in it, and we do this because we love to decorate and make the neighborhood happy,” said Judy Jung. âThree years ago we decided why not some kind of fundraiser involved, so we joined in Little friends and we decided to donate to this charity just for a few days to learn more about it, and Santa is here to greet the kids. I’m here to hand out my homemade cookies and we’re just having a wonderful time. “
Support little friends
Last year, Claus for a Cause raised over $ 2,000 for Little Friends. âMore and more people are just realizing they want to support something local and like other charities and nonprofits we are a fixture in the community and we’re just grateful that people like Bob and Judy can pass this opportunity on to someone like Little Friends support, âsaid Jason Altenbern, Vice President of Agency Advancement at Little Friends.
Back tonight
The boys’ charity clause will be back at 1109 E. Bailey Road from 5pm to 9pm tonight. âWe know because we hear them many nights. Everyone has so much fun walking through our arches, taking pictures on our lawn, and meeting some of our great reindeer friends, âsaid Judy. “And the joy of hearing and the kids and the screaming and the squeaking, and yes, the happiness is great.”
