Fuse + was launched on September 13, 2021. The new streaming services are not just what can be seen on the Fuse Channel, but a whole new platform dedicated to empowering and inspiring a multicultural, millennial audience with extensive original programming and access to all Fuse Media brands.

Before I go into more detail about the Fuse + streaming service, let’s cover the basics of this on-demand streaming service.

How much does Backup + cost? – Fuse + has limited ads and costs $ 1.99 per month or a discounted one $ 99.99 yearly. Both plans offer a 7-day free trial. There is also a free tier that allows limited access to select series and content from other Fuse Media brands.

What does Fuse + include? – Fuse + includes original content only found on Fuse +, plus all of the Fuse Media originals as premiered on the company’s channels, and the entire library of Fuse programs on-demand.

How can I watch Fuse +? – The Fuse + app is available for viewing on Android and iOS smart devices, as well as on Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV and Roku. Unlike the Fuse.tv channel, it doesn’t seem to support web browser-based streaming at the moment.

What is Backup +

Fuse + is a new streaming video-on-demand subscription platform serving a multicultural, millennial audience that expands the programming of its flagship channel, Fuse. The service combines new exclusive original programming with the traditional linear display of date and time via the Fuse channel, as well as an on-demand library of the company’s entire show library. In addition, viewers can access programs from other Fuse Media brands, including:

  • Fuse Beat (black and hip hop culture)
  • Fuse Sweat (retro fitness at home)

At launch, Fuse + will offer 500 hours of original programming, from original content and all current content on the Fuse channel to a range of exclusive independent films and documentaries.

Fuse + (Pronounced “Fuse Plus”) costs subscribers $ 1.99 per month, or $ 99.99 yearly, and both plans are supported with limited ads. Both plans offer a 7-day free trial. There is also a free tier that gives access to select series of ads and content from other Fuse Media brands.

Fuse + can also be accessed using TV Everywhere authentication, which is included with cable or satellite services.

If you want to watch Fuse + on your TV, you’ll need a streaming device like Roku, Apple TV, or Fire TV. We recommend the Roku Streaming Stick. To watch Fuse + on your TV with a Roku or other streaming device, do the following:

  2. Download the Fuse + App from the Channel Store onto your device.
  3. Open the Fuse + app and log in with the Fuse + username and password that you used to log in

Please note: While using the app to view after signing in is fine, there have been some technical challenges with accessing user accounts online and through the app since that release. Original shows on Fuse +

In addition to the exclusive new content on Fuse +, Fuse Media has announced a new partnership with Afro-Latina world star, musician, entrepreneur, writer and activist Amara La Negra.   • Sex sold (Original series, each episode starts on September 21 on Fuse +) – Celebrates sex-oriented companies from a female perspective while helping to normalize the topic of sex – especially female sexuality.
  • The big screen: Los Angeles (New Original Series, Premiere October 6th) – An intimate glimpse into the unconventional journeys of some of Los Angeles’ most enigmatic visual artists who are making their mark today.
  • Like a girl (new original series, premieres 2022) – Denise Jones is a dynamo. Since she was eight or nine years old, she has been performing on self-confident boys and in the buttocks off the seat. And as an adult, she was a vocal leader in the fight for gender equality in sport. Now in Like a girl, Denise will bring the fight for gender equality to life in a series of intergenerational interviews and competitions.   • Fuse Films: The Bindu Malformation (Premiere Oct 12) – Follows a victimized Indian teen who forges her mother’s signature to test high school. When she learns that she has to pay an examination fee up to the 7th lesson, she has no choice but to contact the students that she is dying to leave. Director: Prarthana Mohan, The malformation of bindu Starring Megan Suri, Gordon Winarick and David Arquette. The Duplass Brothers act as executive producers.
  • Fuse Films: Sam & Mattie make a zombie film (Premieres Oct. 26) – Two best friends with Down syndrome gather a town to help them make a zombie movie. With appearances by the executive producer of the documentary Peter Farrelly (There’s something about Mary, Dumb and Dumber), Conan O’Brien and DJ Pauly D (MTV’s Jersey Shore).
  • Backup films: Unsound (World premiere February 2022) – A musician’s romantic spark is ignited by a deaf aspiring trans man who works together to save his nightclub for the deaf. Starring Reece Noi (game of Thrones), Yiana Pandelis, Paula Duncan, Todd McKenney and Christine Anu.


  • Fuse Docs: The All-Americans (Premieres on November 23rd) – East Los Angeles, home to the nation’s largest Latinx immigrants, is in the middle of the crossfire of the American identity debate. But every November this community meets for a clearly American event, one of the toughest rivalry games in the country in high school football: The East LA Classic. The All-Americans follows four students who pursue fame in the field as they grapple with personal obstacles and seek to understand their community’s place in America today.
