The new movie The storied life of AJ Fikry, adapted from and based on Gabrielle Zevin’s novel of the same name, tells the story of a disgruntled and recently widowed bookstore owner on a small island who struggles to find meaning in his life. Other great characters in the ensemble include Lambiase, a local cop who finds more excitement in the pages of crime fiction than in his small-town job, and develops a warm friendship with Fikry.
I had the opportunity to talk to David Arquette, who portrays Lambiase, about the appeal of this endearing project and to meet the locals of Cape Cod, where the film was filmed. He also spoke about his experiences as part of the Scream franchise and what he had to learn about horror fans, as well as other notable moments from his extensive and impressive career.
