Friends’ Courteney Cox once had a haunted house

Hollywood actress Courteney Cox sold her home after it was haunted and had multiple complaints about liquor from guests and former owner Carole King. When she appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live and was asked about her experience with ghosts, the 57-year-old actress told the host, “I’ve had one. I didn’t believe it at first, but I lived in this house in Laurel Canyon, which of course is in LA. It was the home of Gypsy Rose Lee and Carole King.”

Courteney Cox shared how the “Tapestry” singer-songwriter came up to her and had a seance with her, and while she was too impressed to fully immerse herself in the experience, she listened as she shared about the people who live in the house supernatural, reports

The ‘Scream’ star even did a seance with Carole but didn’t pay any attention because she was so “awestruck” by the ’70s music icon. Cox said: “Carole King and I did a seance but I was so impressed with her that I didn’t listen to a word.” However, the former ‘Friends’ star was convinced to finally move out when a delivery man told her , “there is someone behind her”.
