Goldie Hawn recalls an Oscar after-party wardrobe malfunction

Talk about an Oscars.

Goldie Hawn recently shared one of her worst fashion moments to E! News, and it turns out she revealed more than she bargained for at a past afterparty.

“My biggest fashion fail was when I arrived at Vanity Fair party, got out of the car, waved at the fans and the top of my dress fell off,” she shared.

Hawn, 76, could be referring to the 1996 event when she arrived with partner Kurt Russell in a pale green strapless dress that looks like it had the potential for a wardrobe slip.

Could this green dress have been the star’s “biggest fashion blunder”?

Fashion fails aside, the The Christmas Chronicles star has teamed up with daughter Kate Hudson to share some other beauty and style secrets in the interview.

Hudson, 42, admitted she shops in her stylish mum’s wardrobe all the time.

“In fact, I stole something from her closet last week and she still doesn’t know about it,” said the Truth Be Told actress.

“The best moderation advice I got from my mom was to be comfortable,” Hudson added. “If you’re not feeling good, you’re not going to feel good, and you won’t have a fun time either.”

Speaking of beauty favorites, the How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days star said, “Three products I can’t live without are INBLOOM’s Brain Fog Cognitive Supplement Blend ($55), Juice Beauty’s Revitalizing Acacia + Rose Powder Mask ( $39) and SK-II Facial Treatment Sheet Mask (starting at $95). I love a good mask!”

As for Hawn, her favorites are “Charlotte Tilbury’s bronzer, all of Courteney Cox’s homecourt products, and Clorox towels!”

Hudson said her mother “passed on her love of fashion and Stuart Weitzman shoes, which made it so much fun working together on this campaign.”

The mother-daughter duo recently posed together for Stuart Weitzman’s new Live Every Moment campaign, sporting some strappy heels.

“I actually have a separate area in my closet just for my Stuart Weitzman shoes, so you know I was excited to be a part of the campaign,” Hawn said in a press release. “But beyond that, it always brings me an unimaginable joy to spend the day with my daughter and watch her smile.”
