Kyle says he’s not friends with Shaina!

Even though Kyle Abrams was willing to try and make things work with the fiancee Shaina HurleyShe left him right after their first meeting in Mexico. Although Kyle returned to Chicago and was still willing to give their relationship a chance, Shaina cited their stark religious differences as the reason it would never work out and gave up.

Though some fans thought things would never work out between the two, others were hoping for a reconciliation when Kyle posted a photo of him and his ex to Instagram last week.

Love Is Blind star Kyle Abrams says he will share a “special bond” with Shaina “until the end of time.”

Though fans thought he had enough reason to harbor bad blood for Shaina, Kyle surprised fans by posting a cute caption alongside a photo of the two last week.

“Regardless of the outcome, this has been one of the most exciting days of my life,” he wrote in the caption. “Imagine connecting with someone through a wall for countless hours over the course of 10 days and then finally seeing them for the first time.”

“The massive surge of emotions washed away all consciousness and left us both in a euphoric state,” he added. “No matter what the outcome, this special bond I share with Shaina will be remembered forever, until the end of time🕰⛓”

Deepti, who ended her relationship with Shake at the altar, commented, “Once in a lifetime experience.” Shake commented, “Solid caption my mate.”

However, fans catching up on the drama weren’t a fan of his message.

“naw f— this and her,” wrote one fan.

“You dodged that bullet, honey,” said another.

“She bothers me,” commented another. “You’re too good for her.”

Kyle admits that “there’s nothing left” after the season 2 finale.

After the finale, fans were dying to know if Kyle had heard from Shaina at all since they left. Though he teased their “special bond,” Kyle recounted Us weekly that he actually hadn’t spoken to Shaina at all since they broke up.

“We don’t really talk,” Kyle said, shaking his head. “We don’t communicate. There’s nothing left. I mean we’re not friends or anything. She doesn’t come out much. This ship has sailed.”

Kyle was an atheist while Shaina was a devout Christian. Although Kyle said he was willing to try and make things work, Shaina said it wasn’t enough for her.

“I thought I was giving up a lot,” Kyle added. “These are things that [with] On a normal date, I would have written her off the first time I gave in. So I figured that maybe, she should, she would, too. I thought it was a common thing, but I don’t think so.”

He also explained his reasons for trying to work things out in Chicago even after she left him in Mexico.

“I didn’t want to stop,” he explained. “I wanted to give everything I had. I didn’t want my regrets just to end it. And also I followed through with the process, you know, that’s what they told us at the beginning – ‘Don’t quit too soon, use your allotted time, you have that time to figure everything out.’ And I did everything I could do.”

Shaina admits she wanted to give Kyle another chance after leaving Mexico

Despite dumping him on their first night in Mexico, Shaina admitted she wanted to see him interact with her family before making a final decision.

“What made me leave Mexico and give him another chance was seeing how he interacted with my family,” she explained. “I’m very close to my family and I knew at the end of the day they know what’s best for me. And seeing how they interacted and how my parents reacted, it kind of sealed the deal for me. I didn’t want to make any mistakes.”

Although Shaina had feelings for Kyle, she also had feelings for Shayne, who eventually proposed to Natalie.

“It took me a while to open up in the pods. It took me longer than I thought,” Shaina explained. “I think everything happens for a reason. It was organic [with Shayne]I think you could say.”

“There’s some regret,” she admitted. “I just wish I had been a little more open from the start [and] somehow I prepared better, but can you prepare? Other than that, no, it was an amazing experience.”
