Mike Hagerty, Mr. Treeger from “Friends”, dies at the age of 67


Mike Hagerty, perhaps best known for his work on friends in the recurring role of construction manager Mr. Treeger, has died aged 0 to 67.

“It is with great sadness that the family of Michael G. Hagerty announced his death yesterday in Los Angeles. A beloved character actor, his love for his hometown of Chicago and his family were the cornerstones of his life. A devoted husband, Mike is survived by his wife Mary Kathryn, his sister Mary Ann Hagerty, their wife Kathleen O’Rourke and their daughter Meg. He will be sorely missed,” said Bridget Everett, who starred on HBO, in a statement someone somewhere with Hagerty, posted on Instagram alongside photos of the actor. Check out the post below.

As previously mentioned, Hagerty played the caretaker of Monica (Courteney Cox), Rachel (Jennifer Aniston), Chandler (Matthew Perry), and Joey’s (Matt LeBlanc) in five episodes of Mr. Treeger. friendsincludes seasons 2, 4 and 8.

After Joey caused him grief when Rachel cried after an encounter, Mr. Treeger decided he was no longer willing to put up with Monica illegally subletting her grandmother’s apartment.
