New look for “Scream” brings David Arquette and Melissa Barrera on the hunt for Ghostface [Image]


the Scream Franchise returns to theaters January 14, 2022. The filmmaking team this time includes directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin & Tyler Gillett, as well as executive producer Chad Villella, the three members of the filmmaking group Radio silence (Ready or not, V / H / S, southbound). And today brings a brand new picture from the upcoming movie.

In this new take, a fresh face shares the screen with an older actor David Arquette‘s Dewey Riley side by side with Melissa Barrera‘s brand new character, Sam.

Sam is the focus this time. The actress recently stated: “Sam becomes the target of the Ghostface killer and seeks Dewey (David Arquette) for help.”

“Twenty-five years after a series of brutal murders shocked the quiet town of Woodsboro, a new killer has put on the Ghostface mask and begins targeting a group of teenagers in an attempt to revive secrets from the city’s deadly past.”

Dylan Minnette (goose bumps), Mason Gooding (let it Snow), Kyle Gallner (Ghosts of war), Jasmine Savoy Brown (“Love and Mikey Madison (Once upon a time in Hollywood) join an ensemble that too Neve Campbell as Sidney Prescott, David Arquette and Courteney Cox who will return as Dewey Riley and Gale Weathers and new cast members Jack Quaid (“The young”), Melissa Barrera (“In the heights”) and Jenna Ortega (“You”). Marley Shelton also comes back as Scream 4 Character Deputy Judy Hicks.

James Vanderbilt (Murder Secret, Zodiac Signs, The Amazing Spider-Man) and Guy Busick (Ready or not, Castle Rock) wrote the script. Michel Aller edited the film, which is now finished.
