A huge problem is upon us

With Roland Emmerich moonfallA mysterious force knocks the moon out of its orbit around the earth, sending it on a collision course with life as we know it.

With just weeks before impact and the world on the brink of annihilation, NASA executive and former astronaut Jocinda ‘Jo’ Fowler (Oscar winner Halle Berry) is convinced she has the key to saving us all – but only an astronaut from her past, Brian Harper (Patrick Wilson) and conspiracy theorist KC Houseman (John Bradley) believe her. The unlikely heroes will embark on an impossible last-ditch mission into space, only to find out our moon isn’t what we think it is.

Director Roland Emmerich is also co-producer and co-writer moonfall, along with Harald Kloser and Spenser Cohen. The cast also includes Michael Peña, Charlie Plummer, Kelly Yu and Donald Sutherland.

With the virtuous Molly (Rooney Mara) loyal at his side, Stanton plans to betray a dangerous tycoon (Richard Jenkins) with the help of a mysterious psychiatrist (Cate Blanchett), who may be his most formidable opponent yet.
