Season 2 Bradley Jackson is a “brat” according to Reese Witherspoon

Reese Witherspoon is not a fan of her character either The morning show. Since 2019, the actor has played Bradley Jackson, a little journalist who co-hosts a top morning show. But, as Witherspoon recently admitted, her character’s behavior in Season 2 of the AppleTV + series dubbed her Bradley a “brat.”

Gone are the days when Bradley was just happy to have her job. In The morning show Season 2, which premiered in September 2021, is pushing them back. Against whom exactly? Almost every.

At some point she turns herself in to the UBA, the network she works for, and calls in sick for a month. But mostly Bradley goes head-to-head with her boss Cory Ellison (Billy Crudup) or her co-host Alex Levy (Jennifer Aniston). Bradley also messes up her dating life. Before Laura Peterson (Julianna Margulies) steps in as a guest co-host, sparks fly between the two during an interview. Soon they begin a secret romance, which, of course, almost everyone knows about. Finally, Laura urges Bradley to face her sexuality. The world later learns a lot more about Bradley’s personal life than it would have liked.

During a cover interview in December 2021 for InStyle Magazine, Witherspoon shared her feelings in season 2 Bradley. And while she doesn’t particularly like Bradley, the 45-year-old actress admitted she had a good time playing her on TV.

“It was great to play the character who was so excited to be invited to the party,” Witherspoon told Gayle King. “Then in season 2 she has the title, she’s a brat, she stands up for herself, but maybe not in the most professional way.”

“It was fun to play someone who was so different from me. I’m a team player, but that’s not Bradley, ”she added. When asked whether she was the opposite of her character, the mother of three said: “Professionally, yes”.

Asked if there is a broadcaster that inspired their portrayal of Bradley Naturally blond Alaun confessed that it was the exact person she interviewed. King, who co-organizes CBS this morning, stated that Bradley’s Season 2 action wouldn’t fly for her at work.

“Um, let me tell you something, if I said to the head of CBS, ‘F *** you and I’ll be on sick leave for the next month,’ I swear I’d be in the Times place Find a taxi. Taxi! ‘”

When asked to name someone else as her inspiration, Witherspoon replied, “People know their power.” And sometimes that means choosing “not to go to work because they don’t want to be treated badly”.

The morning show Fans know Bradley’s back co-host from TMS, but time will tell if her so-called “brat” behavior will last the rest of the season.
