No party is like one Glowing Valley party because a Glowing Valley Party has ghosts! And drugs! And even an “Exorcist” tribute!
Pat Phelps’ (Courteney Cox) haunting heightens in this week’s episode of Starz’s quirky comic book horror series when the author agrees to drug herself in order for spectral Rosemary (Mira Sorvino) to take over her body and complete her novel can. It’s the most literal take on Ghost Writer imaginable, and also a possible deal with the devil (we learned last week that Rosemary isn’t who she says she is).
But when her editor (Merrin Dungey) orders a rewrite, Pat is left with no choice but to hand over her “meat suit” to the 1950s-era ghost hanging around the Phelps’ new home. In this exclusive clip from Sunday’s episode Impertinent Questions, Rosemary encourages Pat to up her dose. And while it definitely helps to be obsessed with a bombshell with a murderous streak when it comes to churning out chapters of a torrid side change, it’s not exactly the best move, after Pat and husband Terry (Greg Kinnear) decide have throwing a housewarming party.
We won’t spoil what happens during the shindig, but let’s just say the guest list is super random and board games at 3am is a terrible idea. Oh, and beware of men in kilts carrying cocaine!
