Stellar Thriller Movie is coming to Paramount+ as part of the April releases


Paramount+ just added a slew of great content for April, and the streamer added a standout thriller as part of the new additions. Paramount+ subscribers can stream now panic room, a critically acclaimed 2002 crime thriller starring Jodie Foster and Jared Leto. panic room Directed by David Fincher (seven, The social network), based on a screenplay by David Koepp. It follows a mother (Foster) and her daughter (played by a pre-dusk Kristen Stewart) as they desperately try to hide from intruders (Leto, Forest Whitaker and Dwight Yoakam) who have broken into their new home and are looking for valuables left behind by the previous owner. The film is incredibly tense and well-made, and both fans and critics praise it for how well it executes on its premise. panic room was also a financial success, grossing nearly $200 million at the box office on a budget of $48 million. While the film received no major US awards, Foster received a Saturn Award nomination for Best Actress for her role in the film.

The new Scream The film officially opened in theaters on January 12 and brings back original franchise stars Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox and David Arquette. In the film, Woodsboro teenager Tara (played by Jenna Ortega) is seen being pursued and attacked by Ghostface, much like how Barrymore’s Casey Becker was killed in the first film. Dewey (Arquette), no longer the Woodsboro sheriff, contacts Sidney (Campbell) and tells her “it’s happening again,” then texts Gail to let her know as well. The chaos and bloodshed brings the last three survivors back together as they are the only ones who have withstood the onslaught of every series of Ghostface’s murder sprees.
