Tahj Mowry talks about his crush on Friends star Courteney Cox when he made a small cameo on the show in 1996.

The 34-year-old actor and younger brother of the twins Tia and Tamara Mowry spoke in a new interview US weekly.

The actor was only 10 years old when he appeared on the season two episode The One After the Superbowl: Part 1, but he still remembers “it like it was yesterday”.

“I just remember how incredibly cute the cast was. In between takes, I remember sitting on that iconic couch between Courteney Cox and Jennifer Aniston and just talking about it, ”Mowry said.

“Of course, I had a crush on Courteney Cox the most. And I said, “Man, I’m really out here. I’m really sitting next to Courteney right now,” he added.

“These are very amazing memories. And how iconic the entire cafe was. It’s pretty cool to think back to all of that, ”said Mowry.

He was seen at the Central Perk cafe where he stormed in and asked if Phoebe Buffay (Lisa Kudrow) was there, calling her, “the singing lady who tells the truth.

When he sees her inside, he tells his friends to come to the café to see her at a gig.

“I actually remember it took a while because they were shooting this way – it was obviously multicam, but some multicam shows tend to shoot with a single camera at times,” Mowry continued.

A few years after that Friends episode, he was working on Baby Daddy with the episode’s director, Michael Lembeck.

‘Full circle. He’s always kidding me and saying that I helped him win an Emmy for it. I say, “Hey, I’m doing what I can!” Said Mowry.
