The first three Scream movies have hit HBO Max



Happy July, film fans! The start of a new month means that many titles have left some of your favorite streaming services, but big losses come with big profits. Movies like Mad Max: Fury Road and It: Chapter 2 is leaving HBO Max soon, but there’s a lot to expect from the streaming service. Starting today, HBO Max is streaming the top three Scream Movies.

Scream, Scream 2, and Scream 3 are now officially streaming on HBO Max. Scream 4 was not included in the line-up. Some other titles available on the streaming service today include 8 miles, All dogs go to heaven, Behind enemy lines, Under the planet of the apes, Bio-Dome, Conquering the planet of the apes, It’s getting dark, Demolition Man, Disruptions, Doctor Who Holiday 2020 Special: Revolution of the Daleks, Escape from the planet of the apes, Fire starter, House on Haunted Hill, Identity thief, Judas and the Black Messiah, Mouse hunting, planet of monkeys, Pleasantville, The punisher, Punisher: war zone, Rambo (2008), Reservoir Dogs, The return of the living dead, Return of the Living Dead III, Snake-eyes, Stuart Little, The Texas chainsaw massacre (2003), Trick or treating, and more. The Scream Movies hit HBO Max at the perfect time, considering the long-awaited fifth movie is due out in January. The new film that currently bears the title Scream, is directed by Tyler Gillett and Matt Bettinelli-Olpin, making it the first film in the series that is not directed by the late great Wes Craven. Recently, the series creator / writer Kevin Williamson talked about making Craven proud during a virtual reunion.

“I was really worried about making any of these films without Wes,” noted the writer. “The directors actually sent me a letter when the offer went out saying they were directing because of Wes. In fact, they’re so honored that they are even asked to do this movie, and that they are such big fans of him and the films themselves and the cast, and that they really wanted to honor his voice, which I really, really believe that they did. “

The new Scream will be the return of Neve Campbell as Sidney Prescott, Courteney Cox as Gale Weathers, David Arquette as Dewey Riley and Scream 4Marley Shelton as Deputy Judy Hicks. Jack Quaid heads an expanded list of newcomers to appear in the film alongside Melissa Barrera, Dylan Minnette, Jenna Ortega, Mason Gooding, Kyle Gallner, Jasmin Savoy Brown and Mikey Madison.
