Tyra Banks got in the mood for the evening Dance with the stars on Monday night that honored pop star Britney Spears.
The 47-year-old supermodel wowed with two looks that honored two different and iconic moments in Spears ‘career – one from her first single “… Baby One More Time” and the other from her 2001 VMA performance of “I’ ma Slave 4 U “, in which she was dealing with a living snake.
For the first look that Banks posted on her Instagram and Instagram stories, like the star singer, she wore her long hair in braids, complete with bright pompoms.

Bank’s second look for the evening paid homage to the “Toxic” singer’s outfit at the 2001 MTV Video Music Awards, in which she wore a green top and had a live snake draped over her shoulders.
For this look, Banks took a little more creative freedom and did away with the glittering hot pants from Spears for a long green skirt.
However, she wore a green bralette and the snake thanks to a glittering snake application on her garment.

Monday episode of DWTS included a historic moment when dancer Cheryl Burke and her celebrity partner Cody Rigsby gave a virtual performance of Spears’ 2007 hit “Gimme More” based on their positive COVID-19 test results last week.
The longtime DWTS Pro, who is in quarantine after testing positive for a groundbreaking COVID-19 case last Sunday, spoke exclusively to PEOPLE from home shortly before performing the Jazz Routine.
“I’m really grateful that despite what has happened in the past few days, we were able to stay in the competition virtually this week,” she told PEOPLE.
Burke, who was fully vaccinated, added, “We were given a truly unique opportunity and challenge for Britney Week and while it may seem like there are benefits to performing remotely, I’ll say this is one the hardest things I’ve ever had to do! “

Burke, who has been on the show since Season 2 in 2006, called the very first remote performance an “exciting challenge.”
“For someone who was on the show from the start, orchestrating this performance was an exciting challenge,” she said. “It’s something that has never been done on the show and to top it off – dancing solo is actually a first for me!”
Twice DWTS champ had her job for her as she had to ditch her original choreography which she said “left us days behind the other couples”.
