Halloween is just around the corner – which means the spooky season is officially here. For this occasion, Airbnb has a treat for all horror film lovers: The house of Scream will be rented for three days in October – for only $ 5 a night.
Fans of the cult 1990s franchise will have the opportunity to sleep in the infamous Northern California home dubbed the Woodsboro home of Stu Macher (played by Matthew Lillard). The limited offer celebrates the 25th anniversary of the cult film this year, along with the fifth Scream Theatrical release next January.
During their stay, guests are pampered with a film marathon of all four Scream Movies (on VHS of course!) And have access to memorabilia like a 90s-style “brick phone” that has a direct link to Ghostface. You’ll also get the chance to see real knife marks made by characters during the course the iconic final showdown (if you know, you know).
Sheriff Dewey Riley (played by David Arquette) acts as the host, so visitors are sure to be in good hands here. “Protecting the town of Woodsboro is my work in life, and I’ve definitely developed a knack for escaping Ghostface,” Riley said in a statement. “As your host, I keep an eye on the guests so that no one is surprised by an unexpected turn of events. Trust me, horror films always keep it interesting, for better or for worse … “
Guests can also take an abundance of them home with them Scream Memorabilia, including a set of the first four Scream Movies on DVD, Woodsboro High Clothing, Scream (2022) Posters and more. Did we mention that the house is full of 90s snacks like Jiffy Pop and Reddi-Whip?
